Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ppl.gift ("ppl", "we"). By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

ppl is a personal CRM: a hosted tool for storing and managing information about your personal relationships, operable by you directly or by AI agents you authorize. We provide the service on an as-is basis and aim to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use ppl.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and API tokens confidential, and for everything done under your account, including actions taken by agents you authorize.
• One account per person. Do not share your login.

Your data

• You own the data you put into ppl: your contacts, notes, journal entries, and everything else. We claim no ownership over it.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to operate the service for you.
• You are responsible for having the right to store the personal data you enter (for example, other people's contact details) and for complying with applicable privacy laws.
• Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ppl for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Abuse the API (excessive automated requests that degrade the service for others).
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

Plans and payment

The free tier includes up to 1,000 contacts. Paid plans, when offered, are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing prices on an existing paid plan.

Beta features

Some features are marked beta (including agent-operated workflows and proximity detection). Beta features may change or be removed, and they carry no uptime commitment.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ppl is provided without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
